“ Spent a couple evenings here, and really had a good time both nights. There was a show Friday and a DJ on Saturday. Met quite a few of the patrons and looking forward to meeting more. It's a place I could see me hanging out at, in the near term. And since this review, AWOL has become my home. Even though Covid, I patronized the club. And with the relaxation of restrictions dancing has returned. Masking may be required for a couple more weeks, but it's fun to meet someone new here. ”

“ I brought my friends from out of state here. They wanted to see our downtown and go to a couple bars. The only problem was it was on a MONDAY and on MLK day (nowhere was open and it was freezing outside). We found awol :)))) the bartender was so sweet and they were having karaoke night. It ended up getting a decent amount of people in. For a very layed back kind of night it was still really fun and everyone was really kind. ”
“ (Disclaimer) There was a man who ordered a quesadilla with no onion instead he received chopped scallions. I spoke with him and asked him about his business at this established and he said that he was a famous writer and reviewer. He had mentioned how they completely ignored his request for no onions. And in front of me spit his food out. Continued to tell me about how he was a famous book writer and experienced reviewer. Shortly after I asked him for his credentials he fled from the establishment. Be careful of the reviews you read. This is a great LGBTQIA BAR. all are welcome. Especially pups. can't speak on the food cause I've never ordered any but as far as everything else goes it is the best gay bar in Columbus. I love very many of them but this one has to be the best of all. Especially the barracks there's always events and they try to keep you cozy. There is also a place to put your coats and jackets and such and it's only a few bucks. ”
